Analyst I

Primary Responsibilities:
This entry-level Analyst/Modeler is primarily responsible for working as a member of a Core Project Team (CPT). This position will be responsible for fulfilling assigned tasks related to simulation modeling and analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
Follows internal policies, procedures and processes. Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills. Performs in consulting and project assignments, assuming leading technical roles as assigned by Project Manager and/or appropriate V.P. including the following duties:
- Integrating individual efforts with technical project team members.
- Defines data requirements for a modeling effort.
- Participates in data collection.
- Conducts data cleaning and analysis.
- Constructs, testing, and insuring QA/QC for a model.
- Designs simulation experiments.
- Analyzes simulation results.
- Writes interim and final reports from simulation analyses.
- Prepares and presenting interim and final briefings to the customer.
- Keeps the highest level of knowledge and experience with internal proprietary technology, tools and products, and particularly in their applications to solve customer problems and generate value.
- Constructs or oversees the construction of training courses for internal products and conducts training courses for customers and internal personnel as needed.
- Provides pre and post sales support to sales directors, sales representatives and project managers, to assist in either capturing opportunities or successfully executing a project.
- Prepares contract proposals.
- Stays informed on technical innovations and developments in simulation modeling and analysis, reviewing and analyzing technical innovations to keep pace with state-of-the-art simulation tools and techniques.
- Travels as required to perform all essential responsibilities.
- Enables good working relationships with all CSI personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.S. in Math, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Operations Research.
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing technical analyses.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis.
- Working knowledge of databases such as Access or SQL.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in DoD logistics.
- Use of Statistical Software (eg. JMP, Minitab, Weibull++).
- Construction of reliability based systems simulation models.
- 1 to 2 years working experience within the fields of RAM engineering/analysis, logistics engineering, and/or modeling and simulation.
